I believe that counselling isn't something that is done to you, but a process that is collaborative and personal to you. This is why it's important that you and your counsellor are a "good fit" and why I start by offering a free 30 minute consultation

We can often feel alone, judged or that no one can understand what we are going through when our mental health is suffering. I will walk alongside you and build a trusting and open relationship where you are the focus. Together we can untangle emotions and thoughts and shine a light on the shadows.
I am an experienced Integrative counsellor and currently work alongside ‘Freedom Project’ Domestic violence support and ‘Cruse’ Bereavement support.

Based in a safe and private room in Keswick and Carlisle. I offer 1-1 sessions where you can let yourself be open without judgment, a chance to be heard, understood and supported. Together we can untangle your thoughts.
Working together online or on the phone allows you to be in an environment that is therapeutic and safe for you.
Lets make the most of the beautiful lake district and let nature help guide us. Walking side by side we can exercise our minds and bodies, using the sights, sounds and smells to help lower anxiety, reduce stress and develop a balance between the mind, body and spirit.

Wilderness Retreats

By using nature as a mirror to reflect our inner thoughts and feelings, we can begin to understand ourselves better and begin a new journey.
Experience barefoot walking, nature tracking, forest bathing and foraging mixed in with holistic and therapeutic learning based on CBT and Person-Centred Approaches, designed to inspire inner challenge for physical, emotional, and spiritual change.
During the course we will focus on key skills to thrive in our own minds:

Attunement
A way to tune into your mind, heart and body, to tap into the source of energy within you.

Recognise and align your life with what you care about.
This course unites body and mind as it requires focus and immersion, creating a space for you to be fully present and self-aware.
Over the day you will have ample opportunities for breaks around our campfire and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and maybe even the odd toasted marshmallow!
